Thank you for choosing RUSART Fine Arts Co. We offer 3 options for your chess classes: private lessons, drop-in classes, and regular classes.
Private lessons. Please confirm date, time and rates with Elena Perelman by email firstname.lastname@example.org before coming. Please be on time. Your lesson starts and ends as scheduled. Your late coming is not a reason for extending your lesson. If you come too early we may not be able to start your lesson earlier. In case of no-show without 48-hour notice, we will have to charge you in full for the skipped lesson. Normally, we don’t teach at client’s place.
Drop-in lessons. If you're joining our classes after a course start date you can pay as you go drop-in fee. Classes start and end as scheduled. If you come too early we may not be able to accommodate you as studio's space is limited and we may have other class in progress.
Regular classes. All chess classes have a program for a semester. To complete a level and move to the next one you should finish a whole course and pass check-point (assignments, tournaments etc.). Please sign up by email email@example.com. Missed lessons will not be refunded. Please be on time. Classes start and end as scheduled.
You will be invoiced by email for the whole semester. You can pay this invoice by a credit card or by cheque at the studio at least 1 week before the start date. If your plans changes and you have to cancel registration 1 week before the course start date, you can get full refund less $20 cancellation fee. No refunds 1 week before the start date or later. No refunds for skipped lessons.
Upon your payment you'll get a receipt, which is NOT a tax receipt. For all children 18 years and under we issue Tax Receipts in January, for the entire previous year.
Parents of all students of 18 years old and younger MUST sign Liability Waiver, Pick Up Authorization, and Emergency and Medical forms. All other students MUST sign Liability Waiver and Emergency and Medical Forms for adults. If that's your first class please arrive 5 -10 min earlier to have a chance to finish all paperwork before your class starts.
As our studio space is limited and our classes are not family events, we don't allow parents to sit beside their children at a classroom. Some exceptions can be made if your child is 5 years old or younger and has separation anxiety. If you’d like to stay at the studio during our classes we have a waiting room with a clear window; so, you can watch how your child is doing during the class.
